This year has encompassed tragedy, isolation, avoidance, and injustice. Too frequently we shy away from tough conversations with our youth. We pretend that everything is getting better instead of having honest and open conversations. It's time to stop censoring our youth and create a more compassionate tomorrow. We need to foster our youths mental health by educating them with effective coping skills and regulation techniques in a world that is increasingly unforgiving.
